“I want you to go in that bag, and find my wallet.
“Which one is it?”
“It’s the one that says Bad Motherfucker”
Pulp Fiction is a movie about everything you don’t want to be involved with:
Drugs, murder, robbery’s and the abuse of the word fuck.
The word “fuck” is used 265 times. It is a stunning story and the characters are fascinating to watch.
There are three storylines involved:
The first story you’re confronted with are Ringo(Tim Roth) and Yolanda(Amanda Plummer). They want to rob a diner. They think the risks are low by robbing a diner because there isn’t a lot of security at a diner. But they don’t know how else is eating there.
The second story is about Vincent Vega(John Travolta) and Jules Winnfield(Samuel L.Jackson). Vincent and Jules are driving to pick up a suitcase with an extremely valuable loot for mob leader Marsellus(Ving Rhames). They are talking about Amsterdam, why the dutch drench their fries in mayonnaise.
The third story is about Butch Coolidge(Bruce Willis) he is a boxer but not only in the ring.
Pulp Fiction is directed and written by Quentin Tarantino. A funny fact is that he wrote the script in Amsterdam, partially in a coffeeshop. Also when he went home he left the local video rental store with an unpaid bill of 150 dollars.
Pulp Fiction is a great movie because of the mix of violence, humor and a fascinating storyline.
When I finished the movie for the first time I thought:“fuck, what a great movie”
